1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

Through the application form we collect the data you provide: name, age, email, WhatsApp, Instagram, nationality, position, current club, academic level, indicative budget, highlight video link and your main goal.

We also collect browsing data (pages visited, traffic source, device) via third-party measurement tools for statistical and campaign measurement purposes.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We use your data exclusively to: (a) evaluate your athletic and academic profile, (b) contact you for the initial call and follow-up, and (c) where applicable, present your profile to universities and coaches as part of the service.

The legal basis is your express consent, given by ticking the acceptance box and submitting the form.

4. Minors

Our services target young footballers, often under 18. If you are a minor, you must have the authorization of your parent or legal guardian before sending us your data. AGX may request verification of that consent during the process.

5. Recipients and processors

Form data is delivered to our inbox via Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), a transactional email provider, and received in our email account managed by Google (Gmail). Both act as data processors with their own security safeguards.

As the process advances, your athletic profile may be shared with US universities and coaches, always with your knowledge and as part of the requested service.

This involves international data transfers to the United States, necessary to provide the service and covered by your consent.

6. Retention

We keep your data while our relationship lasts and, at most, for 2 years after the last contact if the process does not continue, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

7. Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, update and deletion, and withdraw your consent, by writing to agxathletics@gmail.com with the subject "Data protection".

If you believe your rights have not been properly handled, you may contact Costa Rica’s data protection authority (PRODHAB).

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encrypted transmission (HTTPS), restricted access to the receiving inbox and providers with industry-standard security certifications.
